Little free library.

Hi everyone, as part of the lakepoint residents association remit to serve our community and bring out the best in what we can do as a community. We will be launching a little free library in lakepoint Park.

What is that you may ask?
Well it’s a good question! We will be installing a colourful weatherproof  enclosure that will house many many books, in Lakepoint.
The idea is anybody can take a book, anytime.  All we ask is that you put a book in place of the book you take.  Read the book you took,  come back and swap it for another book, anytime.
If people use it and keep swapping books then there should always be something new to read.  For free.

Nice sunny day and your on the green, feel like reading a book and chillin, sure take a book, and chill.

How many people get a book, read it and then well….that’s it.  It’s on the pile.   With this initiative give your old book a new home, set it free.

This library is being build by Mullingar Mens Shed as we like to keep it local.
We hope to launch it in the next few months.
What we do need is books to stock the library with to start it off.  Good books.  Not crap. Books in very good condition that you wouldn’t mind getting yourself or your children having.
We are looking for books for all ages.  Books of all genres.  So if you can give one book or five please contact us here or on facebook to donate.

I’m not going to lie……we are pretty excited for this one.   Bringing community together in Lakepoint Park.

Spread the love

    • Hi, you can arrange to drop them to 6 The Park, or we can arrange to collect them at a time that suits you.
Thanks for your interest and support. We hope it’s a great success.

    • Hi Demelza, thank you very much. I see you are a regular contributor to our page on Facebook.
Thanks for the kind comments but it is the Residents in lakepoint that are making this happen by paying association fees. We’re just trying to do things that are good for our community along with keeping it well kept. Please feel free to contact us any time.
