Tree Pruning

ATTN: In regard to tree cutting.
In recent weeks it has been brought to the attention of the association committee that members of the association wanted some of the trees in the estate to be trimmed.
We have been in contact with the county council since and they have agreed to trim the trees at the start of the pruning season. This season starts in September and we have been promised that we are in the priority list for first action.
The association has agreed to prune any tree that may be considered dangerous or a real obstruction in people’s day to day lives in the meantime.
If anybody has a real issue with a particular tree now that cannot wait until September to message us.
Please be respectful and mindful that anybody that comes to cut or trim a tree is doing so voluntarily and if it can wait till September all the better.
I hope you find this response to peoples concerns satisfactory. We continue to represent our estate to local authorities for you to get the best service of our estste.

Could we ask all householders to cut their own trees, shrubs or bushes that overhang and encroach on the public footpaths. There is a real need for this to be done all across the estate as some are becoming very problematic. There are some very low hanging shrubs and trees along the brick wall on the main through road also that we would really appreciate if the owners could take a look at please as members of the public have to bow down to walk by.
If you are a tennant of overgrown boundarys please ask your landlord to maintain their property.

Regards,
Lakepoint Residents Association.
