So as some may have noticed the Westmeath Co. Co. had their big cherry picker in early last week and trimmed the tops of trees.
We followed up with council afterwards that it is the low hanging branches that are the issue this time. You can’t pass on some footpaths and basically they are a health and safety issue with the thin branches dangerously poking at eye level.
The council have told us they will need to do an engineers report and go from there. That’s just the procedure that needs to be followed.
The Lakepoint Residents association are just keeping all informed that we endeavour to improve our estate and keep representing with authorities.
Drain cleaning is still on the table and has not been forgotten either.
